#16~babies and birthdays...

This is my son Levi~today is his 21st birthday~such a milestone! Levi was born early and lived for 34 1/2 hours. His birth and death changed my life in ways both profound and subtle. I am sure that if he had lived, my daughter would not have been born almost 4 years later. She is his gift to me and I am so grateful to him, not only for her, but for the other lessons he taught me. I am so grateful to be his Mother.

Today is beautiful and sunny, perfect for the annual balloon release. Then maybe a barbeque~just a quiet celebration. And some flowers for me...

  1. Most people don't know but we lost a baby girl last October. It was fairly early in the pregnancy but it was the most gut wrenching experience of my life. I can only imagine what you went through.
I'm sorry for you loss and I'll be thinking of your beautiful baby boy. I'm glad you were blessed with your little girl. I'm sure he had a hand in that.
